Nike Designed Diamond Encrusted Shoes For Serena Williams’ Final US Open

Nike has created a customised costume as well as a personalised NikeCourt Flare 2 to commemorate Serena Williams’ last US Open competition.

Her dress, inspired by figure skating competition attire, has a six-layer skirt that refers to Serena’s six previous Flushing victories. At the event, a crystal-encrusted bodice refers to the night sky.

She’ll be wearing a NikeCourt Flare 2 PE with a diamond-encrusted Swoosh and her initials on the medial side. The 400 hand-set diamonds in black ceramic on the laces are produced in partnership with Serena Williams Jewelry.

Take a closer look at the shoes and attire below, and expect to see her in both tonight at 7 p.m. EST against Danka Kovini in the opening match of the US Open.
