Better Air Jordan 1 Patent: “Black Gold” or “Bred”

Initially used on the Air Jordan 11, Jordan Brand began used patent leather with Michael Jordan’s first signature sneaker, the Air Jordan 1.

The Air Jordan 1 “Black Gold” launched in 2013 in very limited numbers, inspired by a rare original sample of the Air Jordan 1.

The “Patent Bred” Air Jordan 1 will be released in 2021, giving the famous “Bred” hue a shiny facelift. It is constructed entirely of patent leather and boasts a trademark Black and Red upper atop a White midsole and a Red rubber outsole.
